Miss Ubahn 2010
3-2-1,000 Productions will present the first ever combination fashion show and pageant Miss Ubahn in Berlin at a to be announced location August 14th 2010. The pageant is currently accepting applications for fashion designer / contestant teams who wish to compete in the pageant.
Every team will consist of one fashion designer and one contestant or one combination fashion designer / contestant who will compete for a cash prize and the title of Miss Ubahn. The twelve contestant / designer teams each select one ubahn station to represent in the competition (only one designer / contestant team is allowed per stop: one Miss Warschauer Strasse, one Miss Alexanderplatz, one Miss Goerlitzer Bahnhof, and so on).
The designer must design both a couture swim suit and an evening gown using their selected ubahn station as inspiration. The contestant will participate in 2 catwalks (1 for each design), a Q & A session with questions related to important ubahn and non-ubahn related issues, and a talent show (in which the contestant must display a talent related to their selected station).
The competition is as much a serious fashion show and pageant as it is a celebration of Berlin’s historical underground train system and its close relationship to its citizens. Designers and contestants should do their best to embody both historical and present day aspects of their selected ubahn station including physical construction, mood / thema, and details of the surrounding area. The contestant / designer team who best embody their selected ubahn station will be crowned the winners of the competition.
The application for contest / designer teams, due July 20th, can be downloaded and submitted on the official website. Late applications will be considered provided room is available in the competition. Accepted applicants will be notified within 3 days of application submittal of their acceptance into the competition to provide adequate time for preparation.

3-2-1,000 is a bi-continental underground and independent production company, clothing label, and psychedelic mind hive run by poet / performer Mirabelle Jones with future content at its heart. The company has been providing much needed eccentricity and stimulation to Berlin, Germany and San Francisco, California since 2010.
